2016 LS2 Collage

 

This reflection is based around LS2's 2016 learning journey. This collage lets you see through our eyes what we have been up to this year. There are images of us collaborating working hard and some of our most favorite times at school.

Athletics Day

Today, we had the Panmure Bridge School Athletics day. We were really lucky because we had some Tamaki Collage Students to help us with the activities. In our year groups we were split up into 3 different teams to collaborate and encourage others. I was working with Mishaan, Sa Kae, Cj, Sylis, Daniel and Lyndon. We first had a game of Shoot Out, we had to see which team was the best at shooting the balls. We then moved onto a Sponge relay, Long jump, and Shot put. I think my team worked very collaboratively because my team won most games. The weather was not the best, since we all got wet but we did enjoy our day very much.  

Buddy Reading Week 1

Today we had buddy reading with the juniors room 4 and 3. We had buddy reading to help the little kids to encourage them to read more often and to pay it forward. My partner was from room 3 and her name was Mahdia. They then chose a book, I read to my partner and afterwards she read to me. Then I asked Mahdia questions about the book. Some of the questions were. 

1. What is the book called? 

2. Who is your favorite character? 

3. Did you like this story? 

4. If you could be a character from the book, who would it be? 

5. What picture did you like the best? 

6. What happened in your story? 

I asked these questions. The book we read together was 10 plucky penguins. I really enjoyed this and I am so exited to do this next week.
