For this bonus activity, I had to write a letter to a family member or a friend about why you want to go to the country you choose. This is my letter I wrote:
Dear Dad,
I am going to Chile to learn many new things like their language and to try different foods. When I come back I will show the amazing pictures I took of the worlds longest beach and the worlds oldest mummy. I will also teach you Chile's language and hopefully we can go there sometime together. I will be gone for 2 - 5 weeks and I will miss you the most. Love, from Zahra.

I am sure that he will really miss you while you're gone but I'm confident that he'll also be very excited for you to experience a brand new country and new culture. You will also have the chance to see things that are pretty spectacular! I wonder what the world's oldest mummy will look like? I can only imagine...
I hope that you have time to visit the world's longest beach while you're in Chile. Apparently, it is so long that you can't even see all the way from one end to the other. Wow!
I'm sure that you will also see many other fabulous sights while you are in Chile and that your dad will enjoy hearing all about it! You may even be able to teach him a little bit of Spanish when you get back...

I like your reasons for wanting to travel to Chile. Do you know what language they speak there? I bet they have lots of delicious types of food there for you to try as well, I'm looking forward to hearing all about them!
I'm looking forward to learning about the world's longest beach from you. I love going to the beach whenever I can, so hopefully it's nice and warm for you when you visit there on your learning journey. Do you like going to the beaches in Auckland? Make sure you remember to pack your togs when it comes time to pack for your trip!
