Summer Learning Journey

For this summer learning journey, the activity was to choose a country that I would like to visit and give 2 or more reasons why we choose that country. I choose Chile because it is the worlds narrowest country stretching along South America. My second reason is because it has the worlds oldest mummy and I have never seen a mummy.

  1. Hola Zahra!

Thank you so much for joining the Summer Learning Journey, we are very happy to have you blogging with us :-) I'm looking forward to following your journey through Chile over the next few weeks.

My name is Dan and I'm working alongside Rachel and Mark over the summer. I'm lucky enough to be able to read your blogs and I'll be leaving comments as I go. If you want to reply to my comments then please do! I'd love to know what you think, or if you have any questions, feel free to ask away.

I think Chile would be a wonderful place to travel to. I don't know too much about Chile, so I am excited to learn all about their culture from your blogs!

Wow if they have the world's oldest mummy they must be a very old country! Do you know how long people have been living there for?

I'm looking forward to your next blog Zahra, keep up the great work and I hope you are enjoying your holidays.

    Cheers,
    Dan.

  3. Hola Zahra! Welcome to the Summer Learning Journey programme. Like Dan, I am SO excited to see that you have joined us this year. We are really happy to have you!

We are also really happy to read that you have chosen Chile. It is a fascinating country. I, too, would love to see a mummy. I had the opportunity to visit a museum in Egypt, a country in Africa, a few years ago and we saw a few mummies that were over 1000 years old. They were pretty incredible!

I hope that you will continue to blog with us this holiday and learn more about Chile, its' amazing culture and landscape...

Wishing you and your family a safe and happy holiday season.

See you when you're online next!

    Cheers, Rachel :)
