Run, Jump, Throw

Today for kiwi sport we had run, jump and throw. Today was our second week of run, jump, throw. For our warm up played octopus to get us started. We then talked about the things we learned last week. We had to have our eyes focused ahead of up so we can concentrate. After we went outside to practice our running. We also had to have light feet so we can run faster. We learnt about the  basic skills for running. The skills were to bend our elbows, high knees, cheek to cheek and fast pase. The differents between long distant relays and hurdle relays are that hurdle relays says on your marks - set - go ( gun ). Long distant relays says on your mark and then the gun shoot or a clap. The position for long distant relays is that you have to stay 1 meter behind the starting line. After you use the opposite arm to your leg that you are starting with and remember to look straight ahead.

  1. We all had a lot of fun learning these skills with Andy today. What activity did you like the best?
