Since this week is Samoan language week, we watched a YouTube clip that had a speech about keeping the traditional Samoan Culture alive and the respectful ways of the dances. Mia and I worked collaboratively to summaries the video and selected 20 important words and from there we picked 6 very important words. Using those 6 words we created a summary based on the YouTube clip. I think summarizing is a very important skill to have because it can help you with many different reading tasks like for an example, my previous reading task was based on a reading book that my group had to read and we also summarized the main idea.
I am a Year 8 student at Panmure Bridge School in Auckland, NZ. I am in Learning Space 2 and my teachers are Mrs Anderson and Ms Kirkpatrick.

Mataio, Ofa, Maa'ta, Florence, Carlos and I collaborated together and worked different problem solving's. We each took turns and participated in every activity. My favorite activity was the greedy blocks because it really challenged my brain. We had to try to find out how many blocks each person had by inserting black blocks on each person's log. The math symbols I used, were addition and subtraction. Going to the World Of Maths was a fun experience and I would like to thank Charles and Mrs Millward for setting this up for us.
