Futsal and Tennis
Today we headed down to the Marist club. Over there we played Futsal and Tennis. Our instructor Martin gave us an opportunity to play on the real grounds of Futsal. We also got taught how to play a game of Tennis. Our first rotation was Tennis. The instructor we had was Neville, he was a professional Tennis player. Something I learnt in tennis was to always look at the ball. We then had a game of Futsal. I was the captain of the black team. Martin was our referee. It was really fun and we won both of our rounds. For both games we scored 2 points. I would like to thank Martin and Neville for coaching these games.

Photo Story of Camp
This photo story has pictures of us doing high ropes, making milo, archery, pools, orienteering and many more. I choose some scenes that happened during our days at camp. The most fun activities I did during the 4 days were the high ropes because they really challenged me and I got over my fear of heights.

The Bow and Arrow
After our camp trip we wrote a recount of our favourite camp activity. My favourite camp activity was probably archery, I found this fun because I have never tried this before and it would be fun experiencing something else. I used the structure " T.R.E.E" which is Title, Reveal , Events and Ending.

Greatest Common Factor
Today for maths we chose a game to play based on our choice. The game I chose was really fun and it was called greatest common factor, Sketch's World. You have to get 10 correct answers to play a key board game. You have to collect pencils and every keyboard game you play, you go onto a higher level.
Omaru River
Our inquiry focus for today was the Omaru River. This river is located in East Auckland, Glen Innes. Jorja and I were talking about the positive side effect of the river and the negative side effects. To share our learning we made a DLO about the Omaru River. We added Images to back up our text. The blockage was caused by wet wiped flushed down the toilet. Blockages in the river can make the water stagnant and polluted.

Different perspectives
Today our focus for reading was different point of views. Oh Hsen, Calvin, Mathias, Shakaia, Javeylor and I were working collaboratively to compete our work. The article we read was Christchurch police were told to remove 343 liters of alcohol tipped down the drain. Our challenge was to work together and and view both sides of the story. We chose one perspective which was most accurate.Together as a group we managed to complete the task.

Fruit Splat, Greatest Common Factor
Our focus today in maths was common factors. I played a game which was called Fruit Splat, Greatest common factor. This game helps your recall your greatest common factor. A greatest common factor is the greatest number that is a factor of each of two or more numbers (e.g the greatest common factor of 8 and 12 is 4 .) This game was easy, but it did challenge me.
