Why sports drinks are bad for Children

Today in reading we have learned that sports drinks are bad for children.
People are saying that drinks are bad for childdren because is has lots of sugar in them. When young kids go to saturday sports games they should take water because drinks are too unhealthy. Drinks make people get diabetes because drinks have to much sugar in them. Most people think that drinks are good for them but they are not. Instead of buying lots of drinks you should fill up a bottle of water so you don't waste your money. Drinks don't make you hydrated because they had lots of sugar. Water makes you hydrated because its only plain water.
