Choosing Keywords - Cybersmart

I have created a DLO about choosing keywords. I have came up with ideas to get a good search result. When choosing your keywords, its best to use a full name or be more specific. I have provided steps that will help you with your searches. 

Tae Kwondo DLO

This term, our kiwi sport was Tae Kwondo. I have created a DLO about our time at Tae Kwondo. I have added some skills we have learnt. 

Maths - BEDMAS

Today in math our focus was on BEDMAS. BEDMAS helps you solve multiple operations if you start from left to right. This DLO has a short equation that is solved using BEDMAS. 

Photo Collage - Camp

This photo collage has pictures of my activity group doing some rotations at camp. We made this google drawing together and added many pictures of our days.  

The Labyrinth

This week were were focusing on a film, The Labyrinth. This is a DLO that I have created today. It has pictures of the movie also some of the parts. The Labyrinth was very interesting as it had parts of different fantasy movies in this film. 

Tahuna Torea

 Yesterday Afternoon, the seniors of PBS went to Tahuna Torea. This is my groups DLO about Tahuna Torea. Zeba, Nazella and I were working very collaborativly to make this Prezi.com. We  learnt many things and had a great time there. We were put into 3 groups to go around and explore Tahuna Torea. We got to look at the wetland where the birds and Godwits migrate from and where they also rest. We also played on the park and had a bush walk. It was a very warm day but the seniors have lots of fun. 

The Ski Trip DLO

This week for reading we had to complete a DLO. We had to read our book, The Ski Trip and write down what a proverb means. Our LI: was to understand the characteristics of text and to make connections to the text. We wrote down what a proverb means and we had to choose 3 more proverbs. We then had to answer 2 questions that connect with camp. 

Doubling and Halving

Today for maths I created a DLO on how to double and halve. Our LI: is how to double and halve in multiplication. We had to double odd numbers and halve even numbers. If you still didn't know how to answer the question you had to do it again. This DLO teaches you how to double and halve so you can get better in answering hard multiplication problems.
