Food Tech


This week for Tech, Nazella, Sakae and I made cinnamon and jam muffins. It was a long process of steps but we finally made our muffins. This was very delicious and I can't wait for our new rotation for Tech next week.

Food Tech - Truffles

Today was the first rotation of term 2 for food tech. We made truffles. The ingredients we needed were condensed milk, cocoa, coconut and chocolate drops. This was a long process of steps but we finally made the delicious truffles. We then coated the truffles with melted chocolate drops.

Food Tech - Meat Pie Fillings




Today for food tech we made meat pie fillings. In food tech we made our filling for our meat pie. I was working collaboratively with my group. We managed to complete this task successfully. It was a long process of steps but we finally made our fillings. I can't wait for next week as we finish off our makings of our pies.

Food Tech - Large Quiche


Today for our food technology we were making large quiche. This was easy because last week we made mini quiches. I got to prepare the fillings with my group Nazella, Sakae, and Oh Hsen. The ingredients we used for our fillings were spinach, onions, cream cheese, tomatoes, and cheese. It was a long process but we finally made our quiche.

Food Tech - Fish Kebabs and Potato Salad



This week for tech were were making Fish kebabs and potato salad. I was working with Oh Hsen, SaKae, Nazella and I. The fish were were using was Salmon. One thing I learned was, to not drop potatoes into hot boiling water because, the water could burn you. Once the salmon was cooked and the potato salad was made, we tried it. It was really delicious and I really liked the potato salad.

Food Tech - Rotation 1


This is our first rotation for tech. I am in the cooking class with the year 8's. We were making baked toast with spaghetti on top. I was working with Oh Hsen, Sakae, Nazella and I. Our teacher is Mrs. Heka for this rotation. Next week we are looking forward to make fish kebabs.
