Current Events Challenge

Today for reading I have completed a current events challenge. What we had to do was find a artical from kiwi kids news and write about it. I had to fill in the title, when it was, who was it, where did it happen, what happened, why or how did is happen, what do you thing the author wanted you to learn about and the picture. 

Reading Can Do

Today for reading I completed a can do. The can do I have choose was the word cline and the word I did was big. What we had to do was write an uninteresting word on the bottom of the cline and make the words interesting as you go up the cline.

We had to write down the title, when it happened, who is was, where did it happened, what happened, why or how it happened, what do you think the author wanted you to learn and a picture of the artical.

Current Events Challenge - Reading

This week for reading we had to do a reading can do. The can do that I choose was the current events challenge. What we had to do was we had to put the title, when did it happen, who was in it, where did it happen, what happened, why or how it happened, what do you think the author want you to learn about and a picture of the current events. The artical that I choose was that a girl accidentally runs half marathon.

Word Cline - Small

This week for reading I decided to to a word cline. I had to choose from a list of words and the word I choose was small. We wrote down the uninteresting words on the bottom of the drawing and the interesting words on the top. I had fun choosing interesting words, I also had fun choosing a picture that had something small. 

Word Cline - Sad

 This week for reading I decided to do a word Cline which we had to choose from a can do list. The word I choose from the list was sad. We had to choose 5 words going from boring words to interesting words.

Word Study Challenge

This week for reading can do's I decided to complete a word study challenge. I choose 3 words and they were camouflage, depressed and gloomy. I had to write down what the words meant, a picture to show what the word means, the interesting word in a sentence and different synonyms.
